What Aisle knows about you

Last updated 9 August 2026

What it stores

  • Your shop’s domain and the access token Shopify issues at install, so it can sort your collections on a schedule.
  • Your settings — which collections you chose, how you want them sorted, how often, and the sort order each collection used before Aisle changed it.
  • A record of each run — when it ran, how many products moved, and any error. This is what lets us answer “did it actually run?” when you ask for help.
  • How you found us — the App Store search term or link that brought you to the listing, recorded once at install.

What it never stores

Aisle does not read or store customer data. It does not request any customer permission from Shopify, so nothing about your customers, their orders or their personal details can reach us. It asks for one permission — the one it needs to reorder your products.

Who else sees it

Nobody. Your data is not sold, shared, or used to train anything. It is stored on a server in the European Union and is used only to run the app for you.

Deleting it

Uninstalling Aisle stops it immediately. Shopify then tells us to erase your data, and everything above is deleted within 48 hours. You can also ask us to delete it at any time.

One thing worth doing first: open Aisle and choose Turn Aisle off. Shopify removes our access the moment you uninstall, so after that we can no longer put your collections back the way they were.
